Convention. Farmers Hold Mule Causes $100 Damage To Auto

In an accident Friday evening a mule owned by Lewis Shaner of Veale township was killed after it injured Z A Bonheu’s Buick touring car. Lou Forbes’ wagon team tried to pass. a mule darted into the road breaking the windshield and injuring Will Purcell. The car and wagon suffered damage, and a veterinary verdict led to the mule’s death. Shaner was offered $200 for the mule.

Death of Sherman House proprietor Wallick

Mr Wallick, 62, longtime Sherman House proprietor in New Philadelphia, died at Codilie Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by children Louane, Adrian, Jacob, William and others, with burial in New Philadelphia after services. He leaves a wife Ida Selliver and numerous siblings including Drs Samuel Norris and Washington Wallick. burial plans for Sunday.
