Odon Boy Wins Laurels In The South
Firman C. Sims of Odon won top honors in a Chattanooga Lebanon law school intercollegiate debate at Cumberland University. Sims argued for compulsory education and opposed corruption in politics, winning praise for logic, delivery, and wit. He is a son of Alfred Sims of Elmore Township and a 1907 Odon High School graduate.
