Notice of Time of Presenting Petition for Improving Public Highway
Jno L Beasley et al filed on April 8 1919 with the auditor of Daviess County Indiana a petition to improve a long described public highway from near Odon and Raglesville Road to the northwest area of sections 16 21 and 29 32 in township 4 north range 5 west. A hearing is set at 1 30 pm May 6 1919 in the Washington Indiana courthouse to determine the road’s width 40 feet and to decide the grantability of the petition and its public utility with grading draining and paving with stone and gravel.

The USDA food products inspection service expands to cover 45 large receiving markets. By providing neutral perishables inspection, shipments show improved packing and loading and fewer delays. Initially limited to shippers, the program now accepts applications from shippers receivers dealers and others with a nominal fee.
