Freshman dedication honors Vernon B. Forsythe class of 1911 who died February 10 1908. The poem recalls school days and warns against vanity and gossip urging kindness and duty. Funeral services were held at Burns City Quaristian church led by Rev C H Buchanan with burial at Williams cemetery.
