Funeral Set For Friday For W C Driver 81
Funeral services for W. C. Bill Driver, 81, of Odessa will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Wilbur Mindel officiating. Burial in Sumset Memorial Gardens. Driver, retired rancher, died Wednesday after a three month illness at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1888, in Brownwood and lived in Midland County, Winkler County, and Odessa. Surviving are a sister Mayme Stokes of Midland, a brother Len Driver of Truth or Consequences NM, and several nieces and nephews.

Three Alarm Blaze Damages Several Homes
Firemen answered three alarms Wednesday. At Phil Robbins 925 East 14th a bathroom heater ignited a mattress in an adjacent bedroom destroying the mattress its springs and a handbag and damaging wall studs. A shorted air conditioner wire caused an alarm at Johnny Music 6314 Andrews Highway with a pad destroyed. A TV was destroyed by a short circuit at Stanley White 2118 West Fourth.

Six Odessans Injured In Two City Crashes
Six Odessans sustained minor injuries in two city traffic accidents Wednesday. Two sought private treatment while four were treated for contusions and released from Medical Center Hospital.
