Einhorn seeks extradition halt in Paris appeal
Ira Einhorn, 60, who fled the United States in 1981 amid murder charges, urged France's prime minister to reconsider his extradition to Pennsylvania for a new trial in the 1977 Holly Maddux case. He claimed a US conspiracy and dismisses the 1980s conviction. Paris officials indicated a new trial would occur if extradition proceeds.
