Big business wins in Texas Supreme Court study
A Texas Watch study of the 1999 to 2000 Texas Supreme Court session finds corporate, insurance and manufacturing interests prevailing in many cases. Of 117 decisions, consumer plaintiffs won 23 percent, with 82 percent in consumer versus corporate suits favoring defendants.
