Oilfield work offers paths up from roustabout jobs
Bell Energy owner John Bell of Kermit says oilfield laborers can gain skills and move up to supervision and management. He also cites safety as less dangerous than driving, while broader job rankings show oilfield work low on a 1999 almanac list of 250 jobs. The Associated Press contributed.
