Two Houstons emerge to aid Harvey victims in floods
Kelli Shofstall and her son drove 165 miles from Austin to Houston guiding neighbors through flooded streets. They ferried tenants from a marooned complex on an inflatable raft while others sorted debris and planned to donate proceeds from a lemonade stand to flood relief. Residents described ongoing destruction and a city split between waterlogged and dry areas as cleanup and recovery continue.
