Three youngsters were treated at Medical Center Hospital on Wednesday for overdoses of baby aspirin and one child for swallowing rat poison. Victims included Joe Zett 2, Carla Swain 3, and Jeff Perry 2, all released after care. a fourth child, Tommy Langston Jr. 3, ingested rat poison and also discharged. Accidents occurred at home with pills ranging from 16 to 20 per dose and poison exposure at another residence.

Marine PFC Kenith Jarrell 19 son of Mr and Mrs Raymond B Jarrell of 1419 Meadow will have funeral Friday at 2 p m in Alexander City Alabama. He was killed in Vietnam by enemy fire and burns from a strike by friendly aircraft on August 23. The family moved to Odessa in 1953. He attended Permian High School before enlisting May 1 1968 and later served with G Company 2nd Battalion 7th Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton and overseas from June 6. He is survived by his parents a brother Raymond Boyd Jarrell Jr and a sister Martha Ann Jarrell of the home and by his grandparents J M Snader of South Point Alabama and the late Mr and Mrs Henry Jarrell of Lafayette Alabama.
