PBB ruled blameless in first lawsuit
A Wexford County judge dismissed a 250000 damage suit against Michigan Chemical Co and Michigan Farm Bureau Services over PBB contamination. The ruling found small doses of PBB nonpoisonous, noting no cattle harm from limited exposure. The case began the wave of more than 100 lawsuits tied to the 1973 PBB feed contamination.
