Smithsonian to open Udvar-Hazy aviation center at Dulles
The Smithsonian breaks ground on a $238 million Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport, a 710000 square foot annex to house 200 aircraft and 100 space artifacts. Set to open December 2003, the museum will operate without admission but charge for parking.
