Texas storms kill 4 in San Antonio and rural area
Drenching storms across Texas spawned a tornado in rural Navarro County killing one, while floods in San Antonio drowned three people and left a missing woman. Over 15 inches of rain fell in several districts as officials warned of near certain further flooding. The Navarro County crash wrecked a mobile home killing 33 year old Mike McCormick and injuring his wife Jana and two sons Jerry and Christopher. The family trailer was destroyed and no warning was given before the cyclone struck.

Nearly 400 Odessa residents or former residents have 279 330 dollars in unclaimed property awaiting them according to the State Comptroller s office. John Sharp says the assets range from bank accounts to stocks and heirlooms. Today s Odessa American lists more than 97 000 Texans as owners of over 56 700 000 dollars in unclaimed money and assets. City readies for early voting in Ector County
