Fort Worth Aids Youth Voter Drive Across Six Cities
Fort Worth and five other cities launch a Project Vote Smart program to engage 18 to 25 year olds. Brochures, a voter self defense manual, and a toll free hotline aim to boost turnout. Researchers will survey post election to gauge impact on youth voting behavior. The effort, funded by a 500000 dollar Pew Charitable Trusts grant, partners with libraries and youth groups nationwide.
