Teen Injured While Assembling Gunpowder Bomb in Bedroom
In Sarasota Florida a 15 year old boy was injured when a gunpowder bomb exploded in his bedroom. He faces possible loss of his left leg and fingers. Police say the incident is not linked to Vice President Gore's visit for a debate with George W. Bush. The boy was awakened by the blast and found by his parents. The device consisted of gunpowder and match heads inside a small metal container for compressed gas. Authorities are unsure where the boy learned bomb making.
