Moscow signals possible delay in Afghanistan troop pullout

The Soviet Foreign Ministry said Pakistan's continued aid to Afghan guerrillas could slow the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. It accused the United States of fueling the war with lavish supplies to rebels. The statement came ahead of President Reagan's Moscow visit for a summit with Mikhail Gorbachev. If Pakistan does not halt interference, the Soviet Union said it would draw conclusions on the timetable and take concrete steps.
