Washington AP reports a possible coalition of Republicans and conservative Democrats on a multi year across the board tax cut. Rep Kent Hance says it is too early to know outcomes after a two hour House Ways and Means Committee caucus. Rep Dan Rostenkowski counters that a multi year tax cut is not acceptable now and Democrats favor a one year tax cut targeting incomes 20 000 to 50 000 dollars.
