Alligator Courtship Studied By UF Zoologist In Florida
University of Florida zoologist Walter Auffenberg and graduate student Kent Vliet study about 100 alligators at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm since April. They report male dominance tests in early courtship and shy females gradually moving among males as researchers document the behavior with cameras and tape recorders.
