Teamsters President Williams Indicted Over Bribery Plot
Federal grand jury in Chicago indicted Roy Williams, Teamsters president, on 11 counts alleging conspiracy to bribe Senator Howard Cannon and to defraud the pension fund. Co-defendants include Allen Dorfman and Thomas O Malley with connections to Teamsters pension operations. Williams, interim president, pled innocence as Las Vegas delegates prepare to vote.
