The Odessa American issued a correction to report that May 1-cent city sales tax returns fell 35.9 percent from May 1982, not 27.7 percent. The correction also states that total sales tax returns for fiscal 1982-83 declined 29.1 percent, not 34.3 percent, and the 1981-82 fiscal budget declined 29.1 percent.
