The Senate approved a plan to build 370 miles of triple layered fencing along the Mexican border while voting 66 to 33 against a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants. Earlier, 83 to 16 supported 500 miles of vehicle barriers as conservatives push to shape immigration policy amid White House concerns.
