Atlantic City casinos may have to drop blackjack if a state Supreme Court ruling overturns a lower court ban on card counters. Resorts International and other operators warn that allowing counters would devastate revenue as 14 percent of casino profits stem from blackjack. The appellate panel delayed its order pending appeal, while the Casino Control Commission weighs new rules. Aston, a noted counter, claims his groups have earned millions, though counters face ongoing legal and regulatory uncertainty.
