Detective claims his father killed the Black Dahlia in LA

Steve Hodel, a retired LAPD detective, says new evidence in a 1999 case file and a photo album point to his father Dr. George Hodel as the torturer and killer of Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia. He links the suspect to other deaths and calls the pursuit a spiritual journey.

Los Angeles man pleads no contest in eBay fraud case

Chris Chong Kim, 28, of Los Angeles pleaded no contest to grand theft in a fraud scheme selling high end computers and laptops on eBay. He defrauded 26 customers, with victims, eBay, and Bank of America totaling 453000 dollars. His business Calvin's Auctions allegedly stopped shipping in April 2002 while sales continued. The case was investigated by the Southern California High Tech Task Force after FBI complaints.
