Odessa Family Dollar DC opens with planned phased hires
The Odessa Texas Distribution Center for Family Dollar, built by Hensel Phelps at 3101 E I 20, is the state’s only facility of its kind and seventh in the nation. The center will start with 350 stores in West Texas New Mexico and Arizona, add 75 in August and expand to 750 800 stores across western states. The project features 900000 square feet with 109 swamp coolers and Catalyst software, as crews plan a fall groundbreaking for a possible eighth DC in the Southeast or Northeast as Family Dollar eyes a rapid store expansion to 575 new stores this fiscal year.
