Birthplace of quickie divorce earns national register
The Nystrom Guest House in Reno, once a hub for Nevada six week residency divorces in the early 1900s, is added to the National Register of Historic Places. The 1875 Gothic home hosted hopeful divorcees and later changing hands before World War II owners Victor and Estelle Nystrom ran it as a boarding house.
