PS4 primary error and how to deactivate all consoles
A user reports a bricked PS4, then a replacement, and a primary console lockout. The fix is to log into PlayStation Network on a computer, use Account then Media and Devices to select Deactivate All, which frees one or more consoles to reactivate as primary. Do this with caution as it’s limited to once every six months and may be exploited by hackers.
