Students Team Up At Ector Junior High For Academic Success
At Ector Junior High School in Odessa 1100 students form a school within a school as four core teachers work with the same group of about 120 students. The teaming aims to tailor instruction and integrate lessons across subjects. Teachers note closer student support and a family atmosphere with an adult in the building who knows each student. Each week a Ring of Honor celebrates five or six students from the Babs and Buster team.
