Carter Visit To Austin Ties To LBJ Legacy
Former President Jimmy Carter and wife Rosalynn travel to Austin at Lady Bird Johnson’s invitation. They will tour LBJ Ranch Library and School of Public Affairs, stay at the ranch, then depart after lunch Thursday. Johnson maintains ties to the ranch and Austin apartment. Harrogate incident follows a separate birth week robbery at a local drug store where Jeanann Robertson, nine days after giving birth, was present during an armed robbery with no injuries.
