Acid rain solution lies in awareness says Canadian official
Canadian official Raymond M. Robinson told about 250 at the City Club that awareness is key to cutting acid rain. He said Canada faces 8 million tons of sulfur dioxide yearly and aims for as much as 90 percent emission reductions with clean burning coal, noting technology exists to curb sulfur dioxide and that miners must accept pollution controls.
