Mayor Koch hits snag in midtown parking crackdown
New York Mayor Ed Koch faced a ticket for his blue Chrysler parked in a no parking zone during a courtesy call at the Plaza Hotel. He defended the vehicle as an official police car and said he will contest the citation while continuing the no-parking crackdown. Meanwhile in Minneapolis Percy Ross faces hashish possession charges and potential prison time.
