Gender neutral Bible draws critics in Nashville
Critics in Nashville challenge an updated NIV translation for gender neutral wording. The independent group behind the 2011 NIV translation aims to avoid default masculine pronouns while preserving theological meaning. Opponents including CBMW and the Southern Baptist Convention argue the changes alter core messages and leadership implications.
