Zippy Chippy Scratched From Race After Non Entry Losses
A lighthearted column notes Zippy Chippy, the horse with the most losses in U.S. racing, was scratched at Garden State Park after failing to leave the gate at Finger Lakes, tying his record with an 85th loss. The piece contrasts winning with broader societal values and cites famous figures to question what true success means. Sonja McGillivray's column appears weekly.
