Lawmaker calls for court ruling on census figures for redistricting

Texan indicted in teen's death in Rio Grande

A Val Verde County grand jury indicted Patrick Bordelon 52 on a murder charge for the shooting death of 16 year old Luis Antonio Chavez Vaquera of Cuidad Acuna Mexico as he fled across the Rio Grande near Del Rio on November 1. Witnesses say a man fired at the group after a break in attempt.
