Bush argues Stand Your Ground not cover teen's death
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said the Stand Your Ground law he signed should not shield neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. He commented at the University of Texas at Arlington that the law does not apply to the Sanford case and stressed that stand your ground does not mean pursuing someone who has turned away. Martin was unarmed and walking home when Zimmerman shot him in February.
