Odessa woman among four injured in FM 1776 crash
A 23 year old Odessa man drove a 1998 Honda Odyssey off FM 1776 north of Fort Stockton, flipping it. He was unconscious after the single vehicle crash reported about 4 pm Saturday. Aylin R Castrulta, 21, died at University Medical Center in Lubbock. A toddler Rey J Anaya was hospitalized in Lubbock in stable condition. Debanhi A Piembert, 5, stable at Pecos County Memorial Hospital. The 5 year old girl from Odessa survived uninjured and the other child was listed in stable condition. The driver and two passengers were not wearing seat belts.

Man arrested on cocaine charge in Odessa
A motorist identified as 23 year old Tomas Prieto was speeding at 81 mph in a 45 mph zone on North Grandview Avenue about 3 10 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and possession of 8 grams of cocaine. He faces a first degree felony charge of manufacture or deliver of cocaine. Bond and booking details were not available.
