Georgia O'Keeffe Texas Watercolors Display at O'Keeffe Museum
Rare watercolors painted during O'Keeffe's West Texas teaching years go on view at the O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe from April 29 to October. The works include landscapes abstractions and nudes produced about a century ago at what is now Texas A&M University. Curators note the pieces mark her shift toward abstraction and many works are loaned from Amarillo Museum of Art the Museum of Modern Art and others.
