Permian Playhouse Camp Teaches Drama Confidence
Rachel describes enjoying the spring break camp with dance and performance. Jami Witt, Permian Playhouse education director, says the program introduces theater and helps students project voices and express themselves through movement. The camp, run by Kaleidoscope Company students in grades 7-12 as counselors and teachers, funds the company and reaches additional youths during school breaks. Gabriella Lechuga and Colton Hellums, both 16, share how guiding younger students and backstage labs build confidence and spark future paths in theatre.
