Mothers honor sons killed in Iraq with two memorials
Two mothers transform grief into tribute in a shared story of loss from war. Army Staff Sgt. Hollin and Army 1st Lt. Slavenas died in Iraq near Fallujah and Baghdad, leaving homes opened to memory. Hollin creates Linc's Glory Garden while Slavenas preserves her son's memory through activism and a personal keepsake collection.
