Hover Sprinkler touted as water saving device in San Antonio area
A San Antonio company promotes the Hover Sprinkler a four foot PVC boom with water jets attached to a hose claiming high efficiency. It sparked discussion with city officials in Odessa where water rules require hose-end sprinklers to have a positive shutoff though the device lacks one. The product has drawn interest as residents seek lawns under stricter restrictions while drip irrigation and soaker hoses remain permitted.
