Man Finds Double Letters Penny Could Be Big For Collectors
Hartford AP Felix Dausilio a 47 year old custodian and coin collector says his discovery of a 1995 penny with blurred double letters has stirred the coin world. Experts estimate up to 600000 such pennies may be in circulation and some have sold for 175 to 200 dollars. Mint officials caution no confirmation of other examples and note dies may not be defective. Philadelphia and Denver mints together produced about 2 billion pennies this year.

Four Die When Plane Crashes Near Taos in Ice
A twin-engine Cessna 421 crashed on a muddy ridge near Taos New Mexico killing four aboard. The aircraft en route from Oklahoma City to Taos had requested a lower altitude due to ice buildup. Killed were Benny Brown 53 Kyle Brown 25 Chris Bennett and Robert Newton all from Oklahoma City.
