Starsky and Hutch Rehashes Style Inside Bland Action
Starred by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, the film recycles Zoolander like humor with predictable chemistry. The plot radar stays shallow as the script relies on familiar sketches and dated settings, offering minimal fresh energy beyond glossy car exteriors and retro fashion.
Starsky and Hutch film review wanders through pastiche
Snoop Dogg lends a flamboyant infomercial presence as Huggy Bear but the film devolves into a one joke parade after forty five minutes. The plot meanders around how the detective duo joined forces on Bay City streets, spoofing Easy Rider and dancing showdowns, with a strong homoerotic subtext and distractions from any real mystery. Warner Bros. PG thirteen.

Hidalgo film review rides to desert adventure with Mortensen
Viggo Mortensen stars as Frank Hopkins in Hidalgo a 1890 desert race tale across Arabia. The film features Arabs as antagonists and a romance subplot with Jazira while race action drags with slow pacing and clichéd underdog melodrama.
