County warns on illegal dumping amid hail repair work
Ector County officials remind residents to dispose of debris at approved landfills after hail repairs. Legal responsibility rests with waste owners, transporters, and receivers. Generators may be relieved if a signed statement from the remover confirms legal disposal by a permitted facility. Local landfills are Republic Services Charter Landfill in Odessa and City of Midland Landfill. Recycling options include Odessa Recycle Center. For questions call 432-498-4013 or visit the county site.
