Ring returned after 35 years to Randy Baker’s family
About 35 years after Randy Baker lost his Permian High School senior class ring, an Odessa family returns the ring to his mother Elaine Dandridge. Baker died in 2003 after a cancer battle that began in his nasal cavities and spread. The ring, kept by Gilbert Fierro’s family, was found decades ago and recently identified as Baker’s. Judy Baker and Casey Baker recall his pride in finishing school and his love of racing.
