Board hears Brownbackers transfer sparks school anger
At a special school board meeting Tuesday parents Permian High teachers and at least one student voiced displeasure over the transfer of former Permian High principal Steve Brown to Bonham Junior High. Brown and others called it a demotion while a veteran educator urged reinstatement. The board said the move is final. A dress code revision followed tightening pants fits and banning form fitting clothing while cell phones must stay out of lockers and be used only before and after school.
