District Court Ruling Upheld in Civil Appeals Court
The Court of Civil Appeals in El Paso upheld an injunction suit against Ector County officials over a $2.6 million hospital addition. It affirmed District Judge C E Patterson’s ruling that County Auditor Joe Hamilton should have been joined as a defendant. The appeal followed a decision that Hamilton was proper and indispensable, but the petition was not amended. The bond amount surpassed the figure during the appeal.
