In Tifton Georgia researchers predict farm operations will be managed by wireless computer networks within five years. Farmers could log in from pickups to monitor soil moisture irrigate and even feed hogs remotely. Early adopters in Georgia Mississippi and Illinois demonstrate remote irrigation control wireless video and GPS guided robotic tractors.
