Hostage standoff at Norristown State Hospital ends in fatality
A nurse gunman Dennis Czajkowski 40 fired on two supervisors during a dispute over his firing from Norristown State Hospital. One hostage Carol Kepner 44 was killed and the other Maria Jordan 37 critically wounded before officers broke a window and seized the gunman. Czajkowski was hospitalized in critical condition with injuries. Prosecutors plan homicide and attempted homicide charges.
