Odessa hotel market grows with new rooms and rising costs
Occupancy trends show higher rates on weekdays around 78 percent and about 50 percent later in the week across Odessa hotels, as CVB officials note lower rates to attract business. Seven new hotels under construction will bring about 3,900 rooms, while apartment vacancies rise and builders cite steep costs to develop in a crowded market. Key players Patel and Crest Hotel Management anticipate challenges but remain optimistic as supply expands and market dynamics shift.
