Tragic toddler identified in Love's Truck Stop crash
Odessa police release details of a fatal weekend crash near Love's Truck Stop that killed 2 year old Frankie Rubio III who was in an improperly secured booster seat. The incident occurred about 10:53 p.m. when Frankie Rubio Jr., 23, driving a 2005 red Monte Carlo, struck a 2005 red Peterbilt 18 wheeler driven by Derek Bridgeman of Oklahoma as it pulled from the lot. Martina Deanda, 23, a passenger, sustained non life threatening injuries. both were taken to Medical Center Hospital. Bridgeman was not hospitalized. no charges have been filed.
