Repairs at exploded turbine station in Kermit under way
KERMIT The repair and rebuilding of a gas plant that exploded June 5 has begun and customers have been receiving shipments since Friday, Northern Natural Gas officials said. Pipes and equipment identified as possible contributing factors have been sent to a Houston metallurgy lab for testing. The cost and length of repairs are not yet known.
